Cutting edge is the best way to describe "Jaywalkers", the new stilt creation from Stiltwerks Incorporated.
"Jaywalkers", the name of the stilt designed and created by Jeffrey T. Jay, are named after their designer.
Jeffrey T Jay, the proprietor of Stiltwerks Inc., has designed and engineered a product that he feels will change the face or 'feet" of stilt walking. The carefully engineered design is
created with not only entertainment value in mind but the safety and longevity of the artist performing on the stilts. In the quest for the creation of a superior product Stiltwerks Inc. has
reviewed the designs of many different stilts, surveyed the opinions of numerous stilt performers, consulted with structural engineers, prosthetic limb designers and metal fabricators.
Now after much anticipation by stilt walkers and show production groups Stiltwerks Inc. is pleased to offer its "Jaywalkers" to the public market.
Stiltwerks Inc. believes that the "Jaywalkers " will revolutionize the way you walk on stilts. These ultra light stilts are designed with increased control in mind. "Jaywalkers" are able to
tread on most any terrain, allow you to jump vertically, dance, climb stairs, free stand in one spot without swaying in order to keep your balance.
"Jaywalkers" are a distinct combination of a mechanical engineering and aeronautical materials. "Jaywalkers" are lightweight and strong. "Jaywalkers" can move as your own foot
does, which can allow for an easy transition if you're a novice currently walking on pegs or painters stilts. If you're an accomplished stilt performer you may find an increased sense
of new possibilities in performing moves on stilts you wouldn't have thought possible.
A variety of sizes in the stilts have been designed according to need. Stiltwerks Inc. is currently constructing 25" stilts and 48" stilts. This would put a 6' person on "Jaywalkers" at a
height of 8 feet and on the 48" "Jaywalkers" at 10 feet.
